Breastfeeding is a skill, one that neither mama or baby are born with, both have to learn, and for some it can be really difficult. Support for breastfeeding mums is very important. If you are struggling or need some further information and support please take a look at the links below.
If you have a story to share please share it! I am always so interested in hearing your breastfeeding stories, if you feel like sharing yours please get in touch!

Local support groups
A breastfeeding support group is a great place to go to get hands on help and advice with your breastfeeding, it’s also a great place to meet other mamas!
Funding for breastfeeding support is being cut all over the country, despite this, Bristol has some fantastic support groups out there.

I discovered the Bristol Breastfeeding Mummies Facebook page half way through my breastfeeding journey and I really wish I had known about this group at the start.
