Hello & Welcome to Bristol Baby!

I’m Rose, I’m a Bristol mum to two little girls, LJ who was born in 2017 and D who was born in 2020 (during lockdown).

Shortly after LJ’s birth I developed postnatal depression. It was a frightening time, I felt like I had failed as a mum, I felt very alone. It was during this time that I noticed there was a gap in the support for new and expectant mums in Bristol. I have now recovered from PND, and am now working to fill this gap by creating Bristol Baby. My aim is to build an online space where mothers can share their experiences, celebrate in motherhood and can access help and support when times are tough.

Bristol Baby is a hub of information on all things to do with Motherhood. It promotes positive mental health and focuses on honest, open discussion about the reality of being a mum.

This site is constantly growing, and I will be adding more and more information and support pages over time as well as regularly sharing my personal experiences and advice on my blog.

Because each woman’s experience of motherhood is different, Bristol Baby will also feature guest blogs from other mamas so that everyone’s voice is heard.  If you would like to guest blog please get in touch with me.
